A Guiding Light knows the uphill struggle for clients that loss can create. As a trained professional Guide you know what it means for a family to lose a loved one. At this most difficult time as a trained guide you will offer your support and guidance with resources that are available for your patient and their family as they navigate the difficult path through their grief.
A Guiding Light can educate on the grieving process, provide a high level of understanding of various coping mechanisms that are available in the community, and will help to locate resources that are necessary to assist in the sometimes complicated task of closing out a loved one's business. While the family are grieving, the trained A Guiding Light Guide will be there for them as a beacon of hope no matter how dark the night becomes.
Pet loss and bereavement counseling training is available too. When their furry family member is gone we train our Guides to help in so many ways. From hosting group bereavement meetings and individual loss counseling to providing vigil services when a loved one, whether human or pet, is nearing the end of life, A Guiding Light Bereavement training is an important specialized supplement to your already considerable education and experience.
